DVD to accompany the book of the same name published by
the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, 2006

Assembled on this DVD are the results of the first comprehensive chronological listing of floods detected in South Australia.  It accompanies the book of the same title, Floods In South Australia: 1836 – 2005. The editors of these publications assembled a working group of 100+ individuals who searched a wide range of sources for evidence of the occurrence of floods. The data they found was compiled into a flood chronology and published in the book.

This electronic version of the findings has added retrieval tools for researchers to allow interrogation of the data using a range of spatial and text-based techniques. Extra information is included relating to meteorological and geographical topics, as well as flood photographs, videos and references to further sources for research.

Users of this DVD should be aware of the caveat declared by the editors relating to the flood data included here. The caveat can be read under the Query option.
